Dawnique D. Daughtry

The Reverend Doctor Dawnique D. Daughtry is the Director of the National Youth Department of The House of the Lord Churches.  She has served as Ministry Leader of The House of the Lord Fellowship in Bergen County, New Jersey since October 2003.  Ordained to the Ministry of the Gospel in 1996, Dawn follows the tradition and legacy of the Daughtry family, making her the fifth generation of preachers in the Daughtry family.

A true “PK”, Reverend Dawn served faithfully at The House of the Lord Church in Brooklyn, New York, under her father’s pastorate, where her responsibilities included local Youth Leader and Coordinator of the Ministerial Council.

Dawn’s love for young people is also evidenced by her professional pursuits.  As a teacher, she has touched the lives of many 7th and 8th graders in her Social Studies and Language Arts classrooms.  Currently, she is the Principal at The Ronald Edmonds Learning Center, Middle School 113, in Brooklyn, New York.

Daughtry is a product of both the New York City and New Jersey public school systems, and received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Syracuse University.  In addition, Reverend Dawn earned a Master of Divinity from New York Theological Seminary, a Masters of Science degree in Educational Supervision and Administration and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Fordham University.

She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and serves as the chaplain of the Brooklyn Alumnae Chapter.

Rev. Dawn is the third and youngest daughter of the distinguished Reverend Doctors Herbert Karen Smith Daughtry.

“To God be the glory for all the things He has done.”
